Teachers are the backbone of any education system. Teachers need to constantly update their skills to ensure that educational outcomes are achieved.

Education policy & National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) has recommended activity-based, child-centered learning.

Board examination language papers will be in the revised format of ‘Activity Sheet’ or Kurtipatrika from the year 2016-17 for Std-X.

Taking this scenario into consideration, Navneet Foundation collected responses from teacher community through a systematic need assessment. Responses from teachers indicated that training in “workshop” mode is a needed to equip the teachers with necessary competencies.

Based on this response, Navneet Foundation decided to strengthen the efforts of Education Department and initiated the Krutipatrika Training Workshops for teachers.
